Exhibitions

We invite participants to explore thematic partner exhibitions located throughout the venue, which will be open during all three days of the Forum.

  • The interactive exhibition “Anti-Corruption Journalism in Action”

Organized by the Media Development Foundation with the support of the European Union Anti-Сorruption Initiative (EUACI)

The interactive exhibition presents 10 of the most significant journalistic investigations carried out by regional media, which have already led to changes in communities — from stopping illegal construction to exposing schemes in land, communal, and defense sectors.

  • The exhibition “Frontline Newsrooms of Ukraine” by Anton Shtuka

Organized with the support of Fondation Hirondelle and IRMI

Photographer Anton Shtuka traveled through the Eastern and Southeastern frontline regions of Ukraine to document the work of local media under the pressure of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The photos depict journalists at work and inside their newsrooms.

  • The photo exhibition “Women in Captivity”

Organized by the NGO “Numo, Sestry!”

The photo exhibition presents portraits of Ukrainian civilian women illegally detained by Russia. Each portrait tells a story of strength and pain, a silent cry for help. All of these women have endured terrible trials: inhumane detention conditions, torture, and sexual violence. Their eyes reflect captivity, and their stories represent the suffering of thousands of Ukrainian families. Behind each name is a woman — a mother, daughter, sister — deprived of freedom for years, awaited by their families and children.

  • The exhibition of children's drawings “I Am from a Family of Journalists”

Organized by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU)

The exhibition of children's drawings “I Am from a Family of Journalists” features works by children and grandchildren of Ukrainian media professionals from across the country. Their drawings depict their relatives at work and home, capturing their dreams and the struggle for freedom of speech and Ukraine's victory. These artworks formed the basis of a series of postcards presented to Ukrainian and international partners as a symbol of resilience among journalist families.

  • The interactive exhibition “DisOut”

    Organized by Internews Ukraine

The exhibition is designed in the style of a sports competition, where visitors take part in a “media literacy marathon” through a series of interactive zones — “sports stations,” where participants can complete fact-checking exercises.

  • The photo exhibition “Kharkiv of the Great War”

Organized by the media group “Nakipelo” with the support of the Brotherhood Society “Kharkiv — Nuremberg” and the cultural-educational center “House of Nuremberg"

The exhibition shows a city of strength, brave people, and faith in victory. It is a meeting with frontline Kharkiv and its residents. Photographers Ihor Leptuha, Pavlo Pakhomenko, and the media group “Nakipelo” captured how hope lives alongside ruins, and how amidst the darkness of explosions shines the light of human courage.

  • The photo exhibition “Sumy 2025”

    Organized by “Kordon Media”

The photo exhibition combines two poles of the city’s present: on the one hand, photography that captures the consequences of the fighting — wounds and destruction; on the other, it shows a living Sumy — its people, streets, everyday life, and daily movement. The concept is built on contrast, happening at the very same time, in the very same year, to demonstrate to all of Ukraine that even under the strikes of war, the city remains alive.

  • The photo exhibition “Through Their Eyes”

Organized by the Repower Charitable Foundation

The photo exhibition captures the visible changes in the faces of military doctors and medics before and after participating in Repower’s 10-day psychological recovery program. The black-and-white portraits are accompanied by personal reflections of the servicemen and women — their thoughts and feelings about their own psychological state: what they were like after years at the front and what they became while taking the first, but crucial, steps toward mental resilience.

  • Street Exhibition “The Diary of Georgiy Gongadze”

Organized by the NGO “Georgiy Gongadze Prize.” The exhibition was implemented with the organizational support of the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.

The Georgiy Gongadze Prize presents the street exhibition “The Diary of Georgiy Gongadze,” created to mark the 25th anniversary of the journalist and public figure’s death. The exhibition combines Georgiy Gongadze’s landmark quotes with contextual explanations and illustrations by Ukrainian artists Inga Levi and Anton Logov. The project has been implemented with the organizational support of the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.
